A welcome planned before you land
An unfamiliar terminal, several exits, luggage to collect and a phone that has not yet connected can make finding your reception contact tiring after a flight. If you are booking for someone else, you may also want a clear plan for the person you are welcoming.
Au Lac starts by clarifying who the contact will be, where the meeting point is and what assistance is requested. This replaces last-minute searching with agreed arrangements.
You can enquire for yourself or arrange reception for family, friends, colleagues or guests.
You do not need to be part of a delegation
Solo passengers may want guidance in a new airport. Couples and friends may want a clear meeting plan. Families may need to organise several people and multiple bags. Business travellers may need the airport reception to connect with their working schedule.
Larger groups have their own coordination needs, especially with separate flights. We discuss these different situations individually.
A suitable service does not have to involve many extras. It should address the assistance you actually need.
How we prepare the reception
We begin with the airport, arrival date, flight number, passenger count and contact details. We then discuss the meeting point, how the reception contact will be identified and any additional requirements.
If you are arranging reception for someone else, share the passenger’s contact arrangements and what they should be told before travelling. For several arrivals, a flight-by-flight list helps make the plan clear.
Luggage assistance, vehicle coordination and Fast Track should be requested separately so the scope is understood before confirmation.
Different journeys, different priorities
You may be welcoming your parents home, starting a family holiday, receiving a visiting friend or arranging a colleague’s business trip. Each situation may call for a different reception approach.
Tell us if the passenger may not have a working phone connection, or if onward vehicle coordination is needed. Include the destination and transport requirements where relevant.
Clear information about timing, luggage, meeting preferences and privacy helps us focus the discussion. You do not need to know a package name first.
When the itinerary changes
Please update the assigned contact if the flight, terminal or passenger count changes. The reception plan can then be reviewed against the new information.
For multi-flight groups, one representative should confirm the final instructions to avoid conflicting information.
Adjustments and any additional cost are discussed under the service’s agreed conditions. Restricted-area or special-location reception needs a separate availability check.
Share your arrival details
Send the airport, arrival date, flight number, passenger count and the help you would like. If the flight is not final, you can start with the overall requirements and identify what remains provisional.
We will discuss the arrangement, inclusions and quote. The service is confirmed once the necessary details have been agreed.
You have planned the flight; give your airport welcome the same attention.
Questions before you choose
Where will the passenger be met?
The meeting point is confirmed for the airport, terminal and service scope. An aircraft-door meeting is not assumed.
Is a hotel transfer included?
Only if the vehicle, route and cost have been confirmed in the quote.
What would make your journey easier?
Tell us your flight, passenger count and the assistance you would like. You do not need to choose a package before contacting us.
